Need a creative twist for Thanksgiving Worship? Or for the Gospel Reading for Pentecost 20, Series C (Coming up in just a few weeks on October 10, 2010)?
Consider the skit, “Remember Not To Forget.” This skit, by Thomas Fischer, is a simple, very-little-rehearsal-needed, treatment of The Ten Lepers (Luke 17:11ff.) In the skit, each of the nine lepers is interviewed, specifically asking, “Why didn’t you thank Jesus?” The tenth leper, of course, gives testimony to why he DID thank Jesus.
This skit can be used with confirmation classes, youth groups, or with a blend of youth, parents and others. Use it in worship, Sunday School, Weekday or confirmation classes. Homeschoolers may consider performing it as a family in your local church.
This skit is a simple way to bring to life this very special miracle of Jesus. For more information contact inkristresources@gmail.com . Cost of the skit is only $2.50 per congregation or organization.
